Before renting a portable toilet from us, we understand that you may have a few questions. To ensure that you are renting the correct portable toilet to suit your needs, we have complied a list of frequently asked questions that we receive from customers below.
What is the normal cleaning schedule if a plan is not made when the rental is confirmed?
We guarantee that your rental will be delivered to you clean. If you do not request a specified cleaning schedule, our trucks will visit and service your rental once a week. Our portable toilet trucks are on the road 5 days a week servicing all of Rowan County, so the day of the week that your rental is serviced depends on the route that the truck is scheduled to make that week. Our luxury portable toilet trailer is also serviced once a week.
Do your portable toilets have running water?
Yes! We offer standard porta potties that do not have any running water features, but we also have models with sinks and self-flushing capabilities. They are not your standard porta potties and are perfect for more formal events, rather than your typical non-flushing rentals.
Which portable toilet should I rent and how many will I need?
If you’re looking to rent a portable toilet or a sanitation station, there are a few questions you need to ask yourself first. Due to the wide variety of porta potties we offer, we want to ensure that you have the perfect option to accommodate your event. Some information that is important to consider:
- What type of event are you having?
- How many guests are you expecting?
- How long will you need the portable toilet?
- How many will you need?
- What are the details of your event? (i.e. Date, time, location)
Once you consider all of these questions, visit the portable toilet page of our website to see details of all of the different models we offer to make your selection.
How safe are the handicapped portable toilets?
Our handicap portable toilets are big enough for a regular sized wheelchair to fit comfortably. There are also hand rails around the entire interior for extra support. We offer two options for handicap portable toilets, our white and blue. The white option is equipped with a fresh water sink and hand soap dispenser for additional sanitation. The blue does not have running water or a sink and is considered more of a standard model.
How do the sanitation stations work?
Along with our portable toilet options, we also provide sanitation station rentals. Our hand washing stations are located outside of the porta potties and have a reservoir of fresh water. Rather than having handles to turn on the water, there is a foot pump at the base of the unit that supplies water to the spout when pressed.
What’s the difference between a normal portable toilet and the portable toilet trailer?
Our portable toilet trailer is recommended for upscale establishments that are looking to accommodate a larger number of guests. Parking the trailer outside at a wedding, hospital, or large corporate office helps businesses reduce foot traffic indoors while still providing all of the luxuries of a regular restroom. Amenities of the trailer include:
- Running water
- Flushable toilets
- Electric lights
- Air conditioning & heat
- Bluetooth speakers
- Paper products provided
- Soap provided
The portable toilet trailer is also serviced once a week like our other portable toilets if the client does not specify a different cleaning schedule. There is an option for a generator to power the trailer if there is not an electrical outlet within 60 feet of where the trailer is parked.
How far in advance should I rent a portable toilet?
We recommend that you schedule your rental at least three months before your event. Believe it or not, there are busy seasons for portable toilets and they can be booked out for spring and summer events. October is also a busy month due to pumpkin patches and fall events that may be scheduled. So, make sure to plan ahead to ensure that we will have your portable toilets available when the time comes.
